Charisse began her legal career in January 2004 in the midst of one of Portland’s rare ice storms. However, her representation of clients in Oregon workers’ compensation matters has been anything but stormy, as she has repeatedly earned the respect of colleagues and clients alike. Charisse actively advises clients in the investigation stage of claims and all the way through litigation and Board appeal. She is also a regular presenter and is available for speaking engagements for employers, medical professionals and claims examiners.
Charisse graduated cum laude from Seattle Pacific University with a B.A. in Communications. She received her J.D. from the University of Oregon in 2003. When not at work, Charisse enjoys spending time with “her boys,” (i.e. her husband and two sons), as well as her two Labradors named Bella and Scout.
